Nardi Heating and Air is always there when we need them! Nardi installed a new AC in two of my homes and they continue to maintain the units for me at my current home. I think the real test was the next year. I called late at night when my rental home furnace stopped working after 30 years. My tenant made it seem like I had stopped it from working. I might say with not such a great tenant. Anyway you came quickly, assessed the issue, gave me options, and reacted quickly and professionally to the direction we decided to choose. When Dave Nardi came out to my house to provide an estimate for my furnace/AC system replacement, I was immediately impressed with his demeanor - very genuine and down-to-earth . He thoroughly explained all the options for replacement, and told me what he thought was best for my house -which was NOT the most expensive option available, by the way. He answered all my questions in as much detail as Iwanted, and left me feeling confident I had enough information to make an intelligent decision.
Upon deciding to proceed with the work, I worked closely with Dave's Office Manager, Susie. She was also wonderful - extremely thorough in communicating and coordinating throughout the process, from scheduling to taking care of ordering permits, and letting me know exactly when the team would arrive to begin work.
The work was completed when and as promised. The crew was professional and pleasant, and left everything clean when they were done. But the mark of a true business of excellence is one that stands behind their work and doesn't forget about you the second the job is complete ...
Our unit ended up having a faulty electronic board, which caused the system to intermittently shut off. The first time it happened, Icalled the office, and was beyond pleasantly surprised when Dave came out immediately - and this was on a weekend. The system was working fine when he arrived (Murphy's Law), so he did some general troubleshooting (and showed me some things I could check), but didn't find anything obviously wrong. It happened again a few days later. I called on my way home from work, and Dave, although he was also on his way home for the day, immediately turned around and met me at my house. Just unbelievable customer service!
By process of elimination, he felt pretty confident it must be a bad board (covered under warranty), so planned to get the replacement part and come back as soon as he had it in hand. The next day Susie took over, hunting the part down. It turned out it wasn't available at the local distributor, but was available at another about an hour away. Rather than waiting for the part to be shipped, Susie actually left the office and drove to the distributor to pick it up. Again, just amazing people!
Dave promptly replaced the part, which resolved the issue. He didn't charge me a dime for his time and the multiple trips out to my house. It's now several months later, and we've had no further issues and are extremely pleased with the equipment and the work that was done.
